Citygarden in st.louis , opened in july 2009 trasforming and improving the downtown of the city. It is a three acre park, wich combines great landscaping, art and entertainment. forming a pedestrian oasis in a dense urban setting.In fact there are six rain gardens and fountains, modern and contemporany sculptures by some of the world’s most regarded artists such as Fernand Leger, Mark di Suvero, Keith Haring, Tony Smith, and Aristide Maillol , moreover there are native plants, trees and also coffe and restaurants . The park is easly accessible , there are not fences or gates and it is free to the public.the first impression is fantastic, he looks comfortable ,indeed seating surfaces are abundant, and safe, with a present and visible Security
It can be enjoyed by everyone and the usage is really mixed endeed citygarden is a refuge for workers in the city who want to relax theme self watching The Video wall, (a stone wall that displays video art and movies) but also an actraction for tourist who want to admire scupltures and to go Terrace View Café. Family usually go there for a pic nic and especially children can use every part of the park to play.
