Tivolì - Copenaghen

In the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen,  there is a marvelous and historical park, Tivoli.
This park was created in 1843, and is the oldest that has survived until today, it is located in the city center. The founder of the park (G. Carstensen) managed to obtain a concession from the king to open it, but initially was located outside the city’s walls and entered through a door, dubbed the "West Gate".
At first, the park's main attractions such as buildings included Eastern, exotic restaurants and bars, a train that was making the tour of the park and several stages where small shows often take place outdoors.
Today we must say that the Tivoli broadly remained more or less unchanged, or its main attractions are the same.
But if you add another, which was first considered and careless, or the gardens of the park.

The gardens are charming, superb attention to detail is fantastic and with so tune accuracy or even crop plants.
The park runs all around a beautiful lake, which does nothing but make it even more magical the atmosphere.

In the lake there is a sailboat, which is one of the many restaurants located within the park.

As we have said the park can offer a variety of attractions, gardens and restaurants, events for the elderly, but also fun for children and young people.
The park has a decent theme park, with many games, including one just for those who are strong of heart.

Certainly, the park is wonderful, but it is even more so when the sun goes down, you suddenly turn on thousands and thousands of lights that make it magical, like being inside a fairy tale, drawn from the luminary paths, buildings, and restaurants illuminated with many small lights which in turn reflects on the lake.

The park in addition to being always crowded with tourists who come from all over the world, there are also many residents of the capital. They love to spend entire afternoons or evenings in the peace and celebration that is still within it.

The entrance to the park you pay, and it's not cheap but in my opinion is money well spent, also for tourists there are various agreements with several cards (copenaghencard), or for residents there is the possibility of an annual subscription , which is economical compared to single ticket.
