TRAFALGAR SQUARE

Trafalgar Square, among the thousands and thousands of square are in the world, this is one of the most fascinating.A huge space in the center with two large fountains, and statue of Admiral Nelson's high of 51 m.

At the square is named in memory of the Battle of Trafalgar of 1805, compared to France. It was built in 1830, over the years, it was still subject of several restorations.
The peak is located, along with Piccadilly Circus in the heart of Soho which is the heart of the night apart from being the central focus where all the flows of tourists. And many tourists are seen in the circular plaza, in addition to the beauty of it, because in the square there is the main entrance of the National Gallery, one of the most prestigious museum in the world.

The square is also a meeting place for all citizens of the City, meetings may be the most several forms of protest, the simple appointments.
An appointment is more special than the other on December 31 of each year that the British capital hosts its citizens to celebrate the start of the new year.
In addition, the square is also twinned with the Grand Place in Brussels, Belgium, where during the winter by installing a huge Christmas tree.

A small problem of the square are the pigeons. Recently, the mayor has banned the sale and in some cases the closure of the stalls that sold food for pigeons, but these do not seem to suffer much.
Facing the square  there is the church of St Martin in the Fields, which hosts numerous concerts of classical music. In the same church, down to the crypts  there is a special cafes where you can stop even reading a book.
