MIND HOUSE

Mind h0use is one of Antonì Gaudi’ masterpiece. It is situated in the  Parc Güell on the hill of el Carmel (Barcellona, Catalonia, Spain) . The park was idea of Count Eusebi Güell ,and the park took his name of he.the project forecast the building of 60 hauses and a park, but only two houses  Antonì Gaudi built. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site  and it was built in the years 1900 to 1914. In this project Gaudì  created a original work of art that reproduce the natural forms for example the colonnade have the forms of tree. On the central steps  there is a wonderful fountain , it have a form of salamander. There are a lots statue decorate whit ceramics and glass with bright colours. The unique shape of the serpentine bench enables the people sitting on it to converse privately, although the square is large. The bench is tiled and in order to dry up quickly after it rains, and to stop people from sitting in the wet part of the bench, small bumps were installed by Gaudí. In this work Gaudì release his imagination!

Mind House is a building located at the entrance to Parc Güell, designed by Antoni Gaudi works in Barcelona. This work also appears in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site. Designed in the early twentieth century, was to become a garden city. It is now a public park, open all year, and a monument-symbol of the Catalan city, with a high tourist attendance.Gaudí was commissioned by his patron, the industrialist Eusebi Güell, who had bought a hill (El Caramel) north of the city. The overall design of the settlement provided housing, studios, a chapel and a park, for a total of 60 houses, but it was only purchased one of the lots and were only completed two homes. In one of the two houses already built for many years lived in the same Gaudí, with his father and the daughter of his sister, until his final move to the site of the Sagrada Familia. The city of Barcelona bought it in 1922, transforming it into a public park.
